Executive and Professional Programme

Aimed at: Executives and Professionals who need to develop fluent English for frequent use in a working and professional environment

Content: These highly individualised programmes by OISE Central School of English consist of 3 Quartorials and 4 Tutorials of every day. A Quartorial has a maximum of 4 students and focuses on developing comprehension and expression skills. They offer a high level of personal attention and are also preceded by 2 30-minute guided preparation sessions. These preparation periods are essential as they enable the teacher and student to maximise the time spent in the actual lesson. The Tutorial lessons are completely individualised allowing you and the teacher to focus on your personal language requirements. Each Quartorial or Tutorial is 45 minutes long.

Benefit: You will develop your vocabulary used in business situations, improve your competency at expressing ideas & opinions, gain a comfortable understanding of written documents & spoken presentations, and be able to adapt to a range of business scenarios including presentations, negotiations, telephone conversations and meetings.

English for International Business:

This class is targeted towards the practice of speech functions necessary for business transactions. Students will practice and master various forms of formal speech including socializing, telephoning, conducting meetings, negotiations, and formal presentations. Students will also learn the appropriate use of business jargon and idioms and their use in everyday business language. Interactive activities in class such as role-plays, simulations, and presentations will be an important part of this class. 
English for Secretaries and Personal Assistants

Aimed at: Experienced Personal Assistants or Executive Secretaries. 

Content:This course is designed to provide you with the English language skills needed to perform in a variety of situations, including dealing with visitors and difficult clients, managing aspects of written communication including e-mails, making arrangements by telephone and socialising.. 

Benefit: You can expect with English for Secretaries  to manage work situations more confidently and successfully, feel more confident when using the telephone and communicate better in both work and social situations.

English for Future Professionals:

Aimed at: Students currently at university or recent graduates that are looking for a job either in their own country or in the UK.
Content: English for Future Professionals will prepare you for the demands of a professional working life and improve your English at the same time. The course is designed to meet the needs of young professional people who want to develop important skills to help them find the right job. English for Future Professionals is an intensive four-week course which includes CV / Resume preparation, how to complete an application form and write a cover letter, Interview techniques and Business and work-related vocabulary. The course will take you through Business and work-related case studies, role-plays and the language of meetings.

Young Business English 

This course is designed to provide you with the business English skills you need for your career. It can also provide an excellent preparation for MBA studies. It focuses on English for meetings, presentations and negotiations, as well as giving you the skills to communicate well in less formal business and social situations.You can also expect to develop your reading and listening skills and improve your written English in a work context – including handling reports and drafting emails.

Legal English: Communication Skills for Lawyers

Aimed at: Qualified, experienced lawyers with a fairly confident command of English. 
Content: Case studies, negotiations, discussions and meetings. Materials combine real professional content with London School of English’s highly effective learning methodology. The trainers are language specialists with expertise in this field with real input from the real legal world. Some sessions are led by practising lawyers and visits to a law firm and the civil courts.
